Port de Soller, a beautiful hidden gem in Mallorca. The antique wooden tram rattles along the promenade every 30 minutes, taking the touristas into the old town of Soller. Winding cobbled streets, bright sunshine, clear waters, mojitos made with local lemons (I know it’s supposed to be limes but hey, they were tasty!) and surrounded by mountains and spectacular sunsets. A perfect escape from busy Palma with lots of options for a sunset dinner along the promenade or a romantic drink at the swanky Jumeirah sunset bar overlooking the bay. I took this opportunity to test out my new Fuji X-E2 with 18mm f2.0 prime lens. What a difference to walk around with a small, lightweight camera instead of my usual full frame Canon. It takes a bit of getting used to, especially with the digital viewfinder, but I have to say I’m impressed with the quality of the Fuji and I love the vintage styling of the camera body.

Just a delight. I love Mallorca and you’ve captured so much beauty and colour.
Mesmerising images. I love the colours and the way you’ve captured the essence of Soller. I’ve been there and this brings it all back. Thank you!
So in awe, you have captured this adventure perfectly! Fuji X-E2 is definitely on my wishlist.
Lovely! Just beautifully captured.
Love these! They really remind me of the images you find in Kinfolk magazine.
