Trelissick Garden is situated on its own peninsula with stunning views of the estuary of the River Fal, with over 30 acres of gardens full of hydrangeas, rhododendrons, camellias, hidden nooks & lovely vistas. We visited in June so were a bit late for most of the rhododendrons but just in time to catch lots of gorgeous hydrangeas and some cows grazing in front of the manor house. On this visit I fell in love with the vibrant hot pink geraniums, a plant I never used to like! So much so that I brought 2 plants back to London for the garden. A lovely relaxing day trip, if you’re in Cornwall you must visit this beautiful National Trust property.
