This year I was honoured to be a finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards for Best Wedding Photographer in London and the South East. After the winners were announced I was sent all the feedback from the couples I’ve worked with over the last year. I was floored by what they said about me, the way I work and the images I created for them. Here are a few of their comments:
We chose to have an engagement shoot and wedding day package with Genevieve so we could get to know her and familiarise ourselves in front of the camera. We were exceptionally pleased with her work! Not only of her natural approach and her friendly manner on the days but her work is truly beyond belief! Words won’t ever capture her photos of us. Natural yet elegant, spontaneous yet poised and traditional yet modern. I would recommend Genevieve time and time again! She made our day!!
We can’t rate Gen highly enough. The process of booking, planning, shooting and delivering the photography was seamless and enjoyable. She is not just about the quality of her photos (which are just beautiful), but she understands great service too. On the day she had planned the shoot so carefully that it took almost no time at all and her shots of the guests and party really captured the spirit of the occasion. The presentation afterward, both online and ’real’ are classy and very special.
I was really, really determined to find a photographer to capture the day in a modern approach yet in warm narrative format rather than just stilted portrait photos. Not only did we find Genevieve but she really excelled at her task beyond our wildest dreams. Ive never seen such beautiful photos before!
She’s a very lovely person and we just felt that she would do a great job for our wedding, especially as we wanted something a bit different and non-traditional…
Miss Gen provided us with an amazing set of photographs from our wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was captured fully and the results speak for themselves. We’re immensely proud of our wedding photos and love sharing with friends and family… I can’t recommend her enough.
We had an engagement shoot before our wedding to get used to having so many photos taken, and on the day itself we hardly noticed Gen was there, yet she captured everything!
Genevieve was an absolutely brilliant find for our wedding day. From her consultative approach in the lead up to the day, her communication style and the presentation on her work (should really call her an artist) Genevieve totally fit in with our day and our plans. Her website was a source of relief when we were first given her details, finally we had found a photographer with the talent and the style that we had been looking for, and we must have looked at over 100 sites. She is brilliant!
Overall, Gen has been clear, concise, punctual, and delivered to us an incredible photography service that we truly believe is second to none.
Gen clearly loves being a part of any wedding and she makes you feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera.
Genevieve, from Miss Gen Photography, was everything we wanted from our wedding photographer. She captures moments no one else sees and understood exactly what we wanted. She’s professional at all times, but fun too. Her communication is excellent and the end photographs and attention to detail with the final products were just beautiful.
