Annie & Phil’s wedding was relaxed, intimate and romantic, bringing together their favourite people in the city they love. It was a modern take on a wedding, but also like a really cool get together in a pub.
London has been the backdrop to our relationship, so there was never any question of getting married elsewhere. We’re both Londoners and we love our city. Neither of us are big, ‘white wedding’ people and we wanted something low-key and informal but still stylish and romantic. We decided on Islington Town Hall which fit the brief perfectly.
Being non-traditional, they chose to walk down the aisle together so before the ceremony they had a first look in the beautiful corridors at Islington Town Hall. We went for a wander around Exmouth Market to take some natural couples portraits & Annie & Phil stopped for a swift half before heading to The Easton to celebrate with their guests. Annie chose a modern, lace cut-out dress by Self Portrait & Phil went for a dark navy suit by Beggars Run. I loved Annie’s contemporary wedding dress (it even had pockets) and how cool are those earrings?!
