Last week in London, Emily & Chris were married at the beautiful Old Marylebone Town Hall with their closest friends & family watching on. We travelled to St Pancras Renaissance Hotel for some couples photos then met their guests for a relaxed dinner at La Farola in Islington. I loved Emily’s embellished dress by Needle & Thread, a gorgeous modern alternative to a traditional gown. With London heading to another lockdown, these last minute weddings are turning out to be so special. I’m so glad to have been able to capture so many wonderful intimate celebrations this year.
Our original plan was to get married in Somerset in July with 60 guests, however, the pandemic meant that this couldn’t happen. It made us reflect on what was most important to us and we realised that for us, it was never about the party but about the marriage. So we decided that rather than waiting another whole year, we would have a very small intimate wedding ceremony in London with just out closest friends and family present.
